Prestonett Gras A Laquer is a premium ready mixed fine surface filler specially developed for achieving ultra-smooth, high-gloss finishes on interior and exterior surfaces. Designed for professional finishing work, it creates a very fine, glass-like surface that enhances the appearance and quality of gloss paints and lacquer coatings.
Its oil-based formulation provides exceptional smoothness, hardness, and adhesion, making it ideal for high-end decorating and wood renovation projects where surface quality is critical. The filler spreads easily and sands down to an extremely fine finish, helping eliminate minor imperfections, scratches, pores, and surface defects before painting.
Prestonett Gras A Laquer is particularly effective on primed wood, previously painted surfaces, plaster, and plasterboard. Once dry, it creates a dense, non-absorbent surface that improves paint flow and gloss levels while reducing surface texture. This allows decorative topcoats to achieve a superior final appearance with enhanced depth and smoothness.
The product is suitable for both interior and exterior applications and offers excellent water-resistant properties once cured. It is especially popular for preparing doors, skirting boards, cabinetry, furniture, trims, and other surfaces requiring a premium gloss or lacquer finish.
Supplied ready mixed, the filler requires no preparation before use. For best performance, the protective liquid layer found on the surface should be removed rather than mixed into the filler. Once applied and sanded, surfaces can be overcoated with conventional paints, gloss systems, or lacquer finishes to achieve professional-grade results.
